T-Mobile is bad enough, but at least its native coverage is augmented with a LOT of roaming. Mint is T-Mobile minus roaming so you have huge areas with no coverage. IF you need the unlimited hotspot there is really no competition. Otherwise, there are probably better options, and Mint would be one of them. New disc is the taco! Box came with 2 in apex and 1 in nocturnal. Feel similar in the hand to a roc3 but a little more shallow with a smaller bead. Flight is stable, my apex ones are lighter weight (163) but still flying with some stability. The nocturnal one was heavier (176) and flew significantly more stable. Linux Mint is known for being beginner friendly, and the Linux Mint Forums is one of the best on the interwebs. But beginner friendly in no way means it is only for beginners - rather, it is Ubuntu done right. Solid, stable, and well-supported. LMDE is based on Debian Stable, only comes in Cinnamon, and Cinnamon is basically rolling. Linux Mint is based on Ubuntu LTS (which was mostly cut from a freeze of Debian Unstable when created) with semi-anual point releases, and comes in Cinnamon/Mate/XFCE. I've been using Linux exclusively since 2000 and used a LOT of distros, Mint is great for casual users who just want to play games, watch videos, and browse the web without a lot of hassle. From an anecdotal point of view is launches the same applications faster than all of the distros I've tried and animations are buttery smooth. Cinnamon's combination of stability, ease of use, and features is top class IMO. The X apps range is excellent and much more focused and curated than KDE Plasma's K apps and Gnome heavy suite of tools ... Cinnamon is the default the best supported, and the obvious starting point for anyone with hardware sufficient for running it. Xfce is a good backup option for people with weaker hardware or just prefer it for other reasons. MATE serves kind of the same purpose and perhaps we can drop it at some point.
